This product is great for weed suppression, protecting the soil from harsh weather, and locking in moisture, while slowly breaking down to feed the ground with nutrient-rich organic matter over time. For best results, apply a 5–7cm layer over the soil surface.As this material is screened to 20mm, some longer sticks and twigs may occasionally pass through the screener. Whilst it's less fine and uniform in appearance than others, this compost is excellent for practical, lower maintenance uses where practicality matters more than a decorative finish. If you’re looking for a cleaner looking, finer finish, our 10mm screened Organic Compost/Soil Conditioner would be the better choice.
